10 things to remember about having Godly strength.


























1. God is my strength.


· "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." – Psalm 73:26

· God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.” – Psalm 46:1-3

· The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. – Proverbs 18:10

· Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. – Nehemiah 8:10


2. In our weakness He is made strong.


"For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. Your restoration is what we pray for." – 2 Corinthians 13:9


3. When you have God given strength you do not need to fear the future.


"Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come." – Proverbs 31:25


4. You can be strong because God is with you.


"Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." – Joshua 1:9


5. Strength is only really tested when things are not going well.


"If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small." – Proverbs 24:10


6. We need to guard against pride when we feel strong.


"But when he was strong, he grew proud, to his destruction." – 2 Chronicles 26:16


7. Do not trust in man’s strength – But God’s strength alone.


"Thus says the LORD: 'Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD.'" – Jeremiah 17:5


8. God renews our strength when we wait on Him.


"But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." – Isaiah 40:31


9. God equips you with the strength you need to face the battle.

"For you equipped me with strength for the battle; you made those who rise against me sink under me." – Psalm 18:39


10. Seek God’s strength


Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually! – 1 Chronicles 16:11
