What does the Bible say about feeling confused?


1. Gods words lights up your path when you are confused about where to go.


How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! From Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. – Psalm 119:103-105


2. God confuses your enemies


"I will send My terror ahead of you, and throw into confusion all the people among whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. – Exodus 23:27


3. God used confusion to spread people across the face of the earth.


Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of the whole earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of the whole earth. – Genesis 11:9


4. God does not want our church meetings to be confusing and disordered, but peaceful.


The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.For God is not a God of disorder/confusion but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people. – 1 Corinthians 14:32-33


5. We may be perplexed (completely baffled; very puzzled.) in situations, but never to the point of despair


We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; - 2 Corinthians 4:8


6. God will give us an answer when we call to Him.


· 'Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.' – Jeremiah 33:3


· "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. – John 14:26


7. God gives us wisdom, when we ask Him.


But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. – James 1:5
